I started The Parrot Concierge because I found it very difficult to find someone I could trust to parrot-sit my African Greys when I wanted to go on vacation.  I figured other parrot owners would be in the same boat and I was right!  I have been parrot-sitting unofficially now in Hawaii for about 5 years for friends and referrals, then decided to take it out to the world when I realized that it really is a passion of mine. 
I have taken care of birds my entire life - that's about 46 years!  Starting with Myna birds, ducks, geese, then on to Lovebirds, Cockatiels, African Senegals, African Greys, Cockatoos, Macaws and everything in between.  

I currently have 2 African Grey parrots (see below).  They are 13 years old and I have had them both since they were babies.
